Getting to U. Leiden science faculty

Address: Einsteinweg 55, 2333 CC Leiden

The international Schiphol (Amsterdam) airport is ~20 minutes away from Leiden central station by train, and there is a train every ~10 minutes. Leiden is also accessible by international European trains. International trains: https://www.nsinternational.nl/

From Leiden central station there are regular buses to science faculty, to Universiteitsterrein bus-stop. See the bus numbers on the map, or check the dutch public transport: https://9292.nl/

Accommodation

On 16 May 2019, the symposium starts at 9:00 and last talk and the dinner would end at ~18:00 and 20:30 respectively. So if you are intending to attend the whole program, you may consider to arrive in Leiden a day before and/or leave a day after. We can propose you the marked hotels (two close to the university and two close to the central station), but of course there are many more hotels which you can check.

Reaching the restaurant (dinner)

Dinner starts at 18:30 at Prentkabinet restaurant (Kloksteeg 25, 2311 SK Leiden). It is about 15 min away from Leiden central station by walking. The walk (red dashed line) passes through Rapenburg which is one of the most beautiful and historic streets of Leiden. If you want, you can shorten your walk by taking bus at CS and get off at Kort Rapenburg or Breestraat bus-stops.
